The collages are conceived in direct relation to our work in progress 4D opera The Sun and Moon.
Each work functions as a fragment of the score—layered, dimensional, and materially charged through sculptural interventions. Rather than illustrating narrative, the collages operate through surrealist principles of displacement, condensation, and metamorphosis.Acting as alchemical mirrors, the works reflect psychic states rather than external reality. Their internal logic follows the structure of dreams: temporal collapse, symbolic repetition, and irrational juxtaposition. The figures do not perform for the viewer; they are governed by their own choreography, emerging from processes aligned with surrealist automatism and subconscious impulse. In this sense, each collage becomes a visual aria—an eruption of affect where image, gesture, and transformation supersede language. Meaning is not fixed but continuously reassembled, accessing the unconscious through sensation, rhythm, and embodied intensity.
