Brandon Clarke

As an artist, Brandon Clarke delves into the depth of human existence, seeking to unravel the enigmatic question, “who are we really within the framework of our lives?” The main concept of Clarke’s art explores the dimensions of the traditional canvas structure itself, with the intent to expose hidden messages. Clarke’s technique and material choices express literally and metaphorically characteristics on the canvas to explore the complexity and multifaceted nature of human identity.  His art captures the dichotomy between the exterior facade we present and the inner truths that lay hidden beneath the surface. Clarke's work invites viewers to question their own perceptions of self, challenging conventions of identity while encouraging introspection.

Clarke’s works are held in private collections across the United States and internationally. As a second-generation artist, Clarke’s was inspired while painting alongside his Grandmother, who was a talented artist. Clarke won the 2021 Best New Exhibitor award at the Spectrum Miami. Clarke’s work has been featured in publications such as Artist Talk and Miami Living. Clarke was selected to be an exhibiting artist for The Point Comfort Art Fair, while also asked to be a Guest Panelist for "Images of Social Justice” during Miami Art Week.
